Where are Labview\examples\... files?

I am very new to Labview and cannot find some example files.  Where are labview\examples\... files?  Are they on the Labview network, on a CD or installed in my computer?

The examples are located in the \LabVIEW x.x\Examples folder. There are of course, many other example programs located in the NI Developer Zone and countless other locations. Would you care to be a little more specific on what files you are looking for? you

In the toolbar go to help and then select find examples. The labview examples are located in ..\Program files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.6\examples\ I have version 8.6 but I guess you see how to find for other versions

I do know if the installer has any options for not installing examples. But if this is the case run the installer once more and select install examples.

And yes Labview has tons with examples

I saw several references in the book about examples at labview\examples... and could never find them.

You really don't need the path. You just need to go to Help>Find Examples. If 'The book' does not mention that, you may want to find a different book.
