Hi,
I have an assigment I need to solve in labview, but I'm not sure which software I need to buy to solve the task. The problem is formulated below.
Problem:
I am going to read a movie from a camera in real time. The picture consists of two colors: black and green. During the image analysis I need to examine a test image and find out how big part of the image is green, then I need to compare the movie's rate of green to the test image's.
I've started working with NI vision aquisition but it seems like it's not sufficent for extracting data from the image. I also saw that there is a pack called vision development module, could that work?

Vision acquisition is for acquiring the images - using numerious camera buses like GIGE firewire, cameralink, usb.....
Vision Development module includes acq and processing. You probably can install the Vision acquisition in demo version and try it for 30days and see if it does what you need (there is alot of power in the processing algorithms).
