I'm assuming that you are talking about the remote panel feature. It
allows for publishing the panel to either a remote LabVIEW editor or to
a web browser. Each of the viewers is referred to as a client. One of
the clients can take control of the panel and interact with the panel as
if they were at the server computer. Different clients can be in charge
of different panels on the same server.
The feature is built on top of the LabVIEW Web Server meaning that it
sends the VIs to the remot
e computer and communicates the value changes
back and forth over a port. The allowed connections and VIs that are
published are configured in the Web Server Preference pages. Finally,
you have a configurator and monitor that allows you to see who is
connected, how much bandwidth they are taking, and enables you to remove
privileges.
