What is the Status of CAR 136677?

Is CAR 136677 on a 'Dead Bugs' list?

I, like others before me, am now in a situation where this bug is a major obstacle to my development.  I have a project using multiple cRIO chassis and need to display/control the remote panels of each on a single remote PC.  Regardless of NI's recommended practices, the use of remote front panels to display/control within a subpanel seems like the the best option.  Ideally, placing each remote panel on individual tabs would provide a clean and organized interface solution.

I'm guessing, since this bug showed up with 8.6 and is still listed as a known bug with 2011 that NI does not consider it a priority.

Or, there is another 'workaround' or alternate solution to perform the same function that I have not yet learned.

However, I hate making assumptions and would prefer to get an update from NI regarding the status of this bug.

Thanks for any status updates or alternate suggestions.

Regards,

James

Remote panels do not work if Internet Explorer is embedded in an ActiveX or .NET Container
If a remote panel is built in LabVIEW 8.6 and embedded in an ActiveX or .NET Container in a LabVIEW 8.6 VI it will not display correctly

Workaround: Use a remote subpanel. This is actually the recommended way to accomplish this task
