Weird VISA Error 0xBFFF0012 Error -1073807342

I am getting this strange error:

Error -1073807342

Possible reason(s):

VISA:  (Hex 0xBFFF0012) Invalid resource reference specified. Parsing error.

This error ONLY occurs if I try to download more than 20M points from a single channel on a TEK scope. If I download 20M, no error. If I download 2 channels of 20M, no error, if I download 4 channels of 12.5M no error.

However, as soon as I try to download more than 20M from a single channel, the function immediately times out and returns Error -1073807342. There is plenty of memory and restarting does not change anything. If anyone has any clues that would be great, I'll try to hunt down anything.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

mcduff

PS I am using a NI USB-to-GPIB controller (GPIB-USB-B) I'll try a different controller when I get a chance.

Thanks. I did see this, but I do not think it applies here.

The name is correct when using 20M or less points, however, it does not work when over 20M points. I'll check NI-Spy to try to figure this out.

Thanks.
