Want to save file as a name of controls(Boolean Tick)

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello all,

I have many option on front panel like

1. Panel_One

2. Panel_Two

3.Panel_Three

As user will select outof this that name should be given to file name. But its boolean so how to transfer the label of Boolean Tick as file name? It should also include current date in file name i hv done that but I am not getting how to transfer the Labels also...

For Eg: file should be saved as 10.13.10_Panel_Two if i select Panel_two option.

If anyone know i would be very thankful...

Thanks in advance...

Hi

I think it is useful to you. Right click on the Boolean. If you want to take the status of the boolean, first assign the label for boolean. Then use unbundled by name. You can get the status of the Boolean.

Thanks

Use for the cluster the property 'Controls[]' and then index (index array) the one that is set. Use a property node on this reference to get the lable.

Don't forget to close all the refnums from 'Controls[]'.

I was refering to the picture from Sivabalan.V. (I don't have LV on the network PC). The container of the Radio Buttons is a cluster. Create a property node for this cluster. Use the property 'Controls[]'. This returns an array of refnums (one for each checkbox).

You can also have a property node not linked to a control, then it accepts refnums. I can directly drop them from the palette or use a property node created from the Control and select 'disconnect from control'. Then wire the refnum into it.

Hi pals,

Are you select only one boolean or more? One means not a problem. More means you should give the priority for the control.

Please mention what you want. Then make sure that you assign the Label for all boolean control.

Thanks
