WIndows journal note on a Tablet PC

I have a labview (v 8.2) project that saves my current data into a Excel sheet whenever a control is pressed on a Tablet PC. However, before the data is recorded, my tablet PC asks me if I want to save it as a  "Windows Journal Note" (.jnt) file. If I click "cancel" it goes away and the data is recorded properly into an Excel file. However, the next time I press my control to save the current data again, it goes through the same process.

I do not have this problem when running from a regular PC.

I have tried to figure this out looking through my Tablet PC and I have looked all over the web to figure out how to turn this off or to diable this feature. So far I have had no luck.

I realize this is likely a WindowsXP Tablet PC version problem, but thought someone else might have encountered this.

Any ideas appreciated.

It sounds to me like the Windows XP Tablet PC wants to save your 'touch screen' interaction to file.  Is there an option somewhere with the Windows Journal process to not prompt you to save to file, or to simply not save to file by default?

It turns out that my default printer on the Tablet PC was set to be the windows journal note. So everytime the program was to print more data, it wanted to save the file as as windows journal note. Once we changed the default to a different printer, the problem was solved.
