VisaSetProperties Error code - 1073807202

Hi all,

When I try to make connection with the Windows Embedded CE v6.00 module with touchscreen, I'm getting the error: VisaSetProperties Error code - 1073807202

The main goal is to get control over the inputs and outputs from the touchscreen and the CE module.

I'm using the example: Basic Serial Write and Read - PDA.vi and immediately the error pop-up is shown.

How can I solve this problem?

Dear HuRick,

did you install VISA on your PDA? Please use the VISA PDA driver installation utility undes start => programs => National Instruments => VISA

as stated in the following KB

Hi Martijn,

De Visa sowftware is al geinstalleerd op ons CE windows module.

We hebben de sowtware verwijderd en opnieuw geinstalleerd, maar geen verandering te zien.

Zijn er nog ander opties?

Dear HuRick,

I just noticed you are using CE 6.0, only CE 5.0 is supported; The Touch Panel Module installs support for ARM Touch Panel targets and Windows CE 5.0 x86 Touch Panel targets.

Please refer to page 4 of the getting started manual.

Hi,

I have the very same issue on my WinCE6.0 device.

I have no posibility to change to winCE5.0.

I have installed VISA on my PDA, succesfully at least apparenlty.

I use Labview2009.

I still ge the - 1073807202 code.

I must admit that I am not very certain how com port is identified on the PDA:  COM1 or ASRL1::INSTR ????

Please help, this is important
