Variable Manager cannot connect to localhost

This worked at one time but I had to uninstall LV target app and all NI components then reinstall did not work.  ??? Is something missing from the install?

You probably need to explain a little bit more.

• The words "... did not work" are very ambiguous.
• Did you have problems withe the install or did the install work, but the application still does not run?
• What are the "NI components"?
• Is this with LabVIEW or a built application?
• What are the exact error messages?

Do you use any kind of personal security or firewall software? What is your OS?

like altenbach mentioned above, can you be a little more specific and provide some more details about the issue you're having? Are you seeing any errors? If so, what? What are you trying to do and how is it failing?

As many details as you can give would be greatly appreciated.  Screen shots and vi attachment are also welcome.
