Hi All,

I have a report created by the NI VLM. I have attached a sample file with this message. It seems like each checkout do not have a corresponding checkin. There are more number of checkouts than the checkin and also they are sometimes in a ratio like 4:1 (4 checkouts and 1 checkin especially in case of LV AppBuilder) but sometimes not. Can somebody explain why it is this way? Also, I did not understand all the columns in the file. Do anybody have idea about this?

Hey Saranya,

First of all, I would recommend that you create a service request with support since VLM is not really supported by the forums.  To do this, go to ni.com/ask.

Secondly, what we will need for further information is the debug log (located in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\License Manager\bin\lmgrd.log) as this will provide the most reliable account of check in/out operations.
