VLA, serial numbers, and activation: how do they work?

Ok, we figured it out! User error, as expected.

  1. Our use-case is for some users to get multiple Named-User seats, which lets them run LabVIEW concurrently on 2 machines.
  2. When LabVIEW can't checkout a Network License, it asks to activate the software (which is not presented intuitively to the end-user).
  3. Our user group in the VLM inadvertently included 2 extra accounts from early experimentation with the VLM + LM. Those extra accounts prevented the intended users from checking out their second license. We removed those accounts, and now everything is working.
