Hi All,
The VISA Resource Control in LabVIEW on my machine has stopped populating the resource names connected to the PC. I used to see the VISA resource names earlier but now, I am unable to see them. The device appears correctly in Device Manager and NI Max though. Can someone suggest on how to get this resolved?
Thanks,
Abrar

What changed between then and now?
Right click on the control and look into I/O Name Filtering. Perhaps something changed there.

Thanks for your response. Between then and now, I don't think anything changed in LabVIEW. And with respect to I/O Name filtering, I have attached the screenshots of my configuration (I guess this should be the default LabVIEW configuration as I did not change it) and other relevant screenshots. The device gets properly detected in both device manager and NI Max but does not get detected in LabVIEW in the VISA Resource Control. I am not sure on what went wrong. I also uninstalled NI-488.2 and reinstalled it back to just to be on the safer side. I have tried this in both LabVIEW 2014 and LabVIEW 2015 and the same issue persists.
Any suggestions here would be appreciated.

Is this the type of device that would show up in a VISA resource control. This only looks like an interface device, to convert a USB port to GPIB. What happens when you plug a device into this interface....does that device then shown up in the resource control?

As aputman eluded, the GPIB-USB_HS is not a VISA device. It is an interface. In MAX, hit that "Scan for Instruments" button when you have the GPIB controller selected. Any instruments that are then detected should show up in the VISA resource.
