This error message came in the Visa interactive tool  : VISA:  (Hex 0xBFFF001D) The specified attribute is not defined or supported by the referenced resource.

what should i do to fix it   ?

Don't define that attribute. The device appears to be a PXI card. There is no VISA timeout.

Hi bibo702,

you try to set a timeout for a PXI-1031 Chassis. A PXI chassis doesn't support a timeout value.

It is not possible to set a timeout, independent of the software you are trying to use.
