VI to Java port

In our application, we would like to port some of the VI's to Java. Are
there any good resources (Java classes, websites, books, etc) for assisting
with this?

Thanks,
Chuck

Chuck,

I would contact Jeffrey Travis on this - he has done extensive work with
LabVIEW and Java.

Chuck

To complement his book, Internet Applications in LabVIEW
(http://www.rayodyne.com/i_enabled_systems.htm), National Instruments
periodically runs the Jeff's "Internet Applications in LabVIEW" course. This
is usually taught by the man himself or by the Rayodyne engineering staff in
Austin, TX.

The course is very much based on the book, so if you don't fancy getting on
a plane to Texas - I'd certainly recommend the book. It covers many facets
of Internet application development including basic HTML for engineers, the
use of ActiveX controls and Java applets using AppletVIEW (another one of
Jeff's offerings, this chap's a busy man!).

You may also be interested in LabVNC (http://www.labvnc.org/), which enables
you to Internet enable your LabVIEW appli
cation without the need for extra
programming!! Please email info@rayodyne.com for more details.

Feel free to contact Jeff at jeff@rayodyne.com.
