Not sure if this is bad form or not, but I'm duplicating a post from the VXI forum (it seems very, very dead) and it is also (sorta) a LV issue. I'd normally wait, but sadly I'm on a bit of a time crunch now.
I was wondering if anyone had gotten this to work.
A bit of background: About a year ago, I did have this working, but it was after about a month of messing around. I never did figure out what exactly it was that got it working. A hard drive crash lost my work and configuration.
Any help anyone could provide (even if a point in the right direction) would be appreciated. If not, I'll keep messing with it...

Of course. Mess with it for hours and nothing. Ask for help and figure it out 5 minutes later...
I had installed the 64 bit drivers for the EX2500A. Agilent IO suites and VISA are all 32 bit. Bah! Stupid mistakes.
On the off chance this ever comes up again, for anyone searching:
Install Agilent IO suite. Use Agilent visa as primary visa. Install EX2500A drivers from VTI's web page. Make sure you don't have a driver bit conflict. Configure instrument in IO suite, and vxi0 will show up inside of LV.

I hate to ask but, Did you follow the quick start guide?
Start on page 9 which should tell you to go to page 23 using NI VISA as primary and Agilient Secondary

Of course I did. And the option it tells you to do in the quick start guide doesn't seem to exist in MAX anymore. They are, in fact, the exact same instructions that I linked in my first post.
Here is what MAX 14 looks like (with both drivers installed) No option to configure VISA.
Edit: Verbage to make me sound less ... terse. Several hours of things not working have made me crochety 😛

I can certainly understand frustration.
Witch VISA is primary? Do try withNI VISA primary. The VISA options follow primary if I
Recall correctly. If not, of course they should! And no should disable VISA config when not primary.
