We have a LabVIEW executable that was created using LabVIEW version 6.1, a *.bld file is reused everytime to create a new executable with LV 6.1
Now, the version has been upgraded to 8.0 and I noticed the project files (*.lvproj) option. I was wondering if I could use the *.bld file from 6.1 in someway, that way I won't have to configure everything. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Yes, in LabVIEW 8.0 you should see an option in the Tools menu saying something like "Import Build Script" that will automatically convert your .bld file into a LabVIEW project that should retain all the settings from your .bld file.
