Hi Chris,

the default READ ONLY mode is only my assumption - but it seems to be in line with behaviour of the vi and it's in line with what I have learnt years ago...

Hi Gerd

i tested the behaviour of the read file function with path in/refnum out - mode, it is READ ONLY. other apps are able to write to the file. see 8.20 attachment.
