Upgraded to 64 bit. How to reinstall and reactivate??

Solved!

I am a high school engrineering teacher teaching the Infinity Project course.  We originally purchase ten licenses of "LabView for the Infinity Project" and installed them on 32-bit machines.   This summer we upgraded to 64 bit machines.  I realize that I cannot load 32-bit software on a 64 bit machine.   Is there a 64 bit version that I can download for my original license?

Hello MarsRover,

You should be able to install LabVIEW 32-bit on a 64-bit operating system as long as the 64-bit machine offers a 32-bit compatability/emulation layer. Windows should be fine with either one, and 32-bit LabVIEW has more supported toolkits and modules, so unless you're planning on writing programs that require more than 2 GB of RAM 32-bit LabVIEW is probably the way to go.  If you're using Mac or Linux the situation is a bit more complicated.

As for licensing, you should be able to access 64-bit downloads from ni.com/downloads once you've registered the serial number(s) to your user profile.  A LabVIEW license includes access to both 32-and 64-bit.

Access your products:

http://www.ni.com/downloads/products/

If you're planning on using LabVIEW 2013 (and have a license for it), you can also access it here:

https://lumen.ni.com/nicif/US/EVALLV/content.xhtml

Hope that helps!
