Upconvert VI Requests

Hello,

Could some one upconvert this VI to run on Labview 8.6? Thanks very much in advance!

That VI was done in LabVIEW 3.1. Upconversion requires a special toolkit from NI. I don't think anyone on this forum has it. If you absolutely need to have that VI then you should contact NI tech support directly.

Attached. NOTE: There are several "AI" VIs in the .llb. These are VIs from the Traditional DAQ Driver. You should remove these VIs and use the VIs directly from Traditional DAQ. You can download Traditional DAQ 7.4.4 from here: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/570/lang/en

Note taken, thanks.

Sorry for the trouble but is it possible to convert it to Labview 9 as well?

Regards,

Hugo

You already have it in LabVIEW 10. From LabVIEW 10 just do a File -> Save for Previous Version.

Then why did you ask for the upconversion to LV 10?

Hi there,

I have a LV 7.1 Matrix solution for fitting an ellipse from a co-worker. I tried to use the VI's with my LabView Version 2009 (9.0 32bit). But the upconvert doesn't work. In LV 7.1 there we used arrays as matrix VI input. But the matrix content changes in LV09 and so the arrays become new matrix data arrays. We tried to manually change to the old Vi's, but with no luck.

The fit is founded on a paper: http://cococubed.asu.edu/papers/conics/fitzgibbon_1999.pdf

I have 2 distributions attached. One with only the own created VI's (but there all the LV internal Vi's changed when opened) The second distribution is with all LV 7.1 VI's included, (but anyway the VI's change automatically and we couldnt manage to reset them manually), and last but not least an application exe to show that it all worked with LV7.1^^

I would be pleased if anybody could help me with this, for I'm no mathematician and am not sure to get this resolved by myself. This could also be a helpful solution for NI thread: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/fit-data-to-a-tilted-ellipse/m-p/1577968/highlight/false#M577633

Many thanks in advance!

With best regards
