Unlocking Of VI disabled

Hi

I've got a library of VI's from a supplier of a DAC device which can be controlled over the serial port. They've sent me an 'unlocked' version of the VI's (they claim) but I cannot view the block diagram. Under the security settings tab, the three options (unlocked, locked and password protected) are all greyed out. The switch is set to locked but obviously I cannot totally unlock it as it's greyed out for some weird reason.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get into the diagram? I've attached the library if anyone can help?

Thanks

Hi Rich_E,

your llb (LabVIEW 7.1) was saved WITHOUT block diagrams (or is an exe-file renamed to *.llb).

You cannot look at the block diagrams as there is nothing to look at. So better ask those guys again for an 'unlocked' version.
And while you do so you should insist on an user interface according to style guide. IMHO it's much too colorful and crowded...
Best regards,
GerdW

Aha thanks that would make sense! I've just found the application note regarding this so I will chase the suppliers down for some proper code!!

Thanks for your quick reply!
