You may receive this error if you try to install Database Connectivity Toolset 1.0 on a machine that only has LabVIEW 6.1. It doesn't matter if you have the Run-Time Engine 6.1 or not.
The reason fot this is that you need the toolkit version 1.0.1 with LabVIEW 6.1 installed.
One workaround would be to install the Run-Time Engine 6.0 that you can download from the web site

Another solution is to update the toolkit to 1.0.1. This version is free to people who already have version 1.0 of the toolkit. You can order the updated version on-line at ni.com/upgrade (prefered method), or contact your sales representative.
