Unable to create an XControl

Hi there,

I'd like to have a control that has some internal logic. Clicking a button cycles LED indicators through a sequence (along with some other simple logic).

Based on my searching, it seems like an XControl is the right solution. I'm not able to create one as described here. See the screenshot here:

Are XControls still a feature in LabVIEW (2023Q1)? Do I need to install something I haven't already installed?

Is there a better way for me to achieve my goal?

Yes LV 2023Q1 supports Xcontrol,

What is the LabVIEW License activated in your Machine (Base/Full/Professional)?

Not available in all the LabVIEW Development License, It is available only in Professional License.

Ah thankyou PT - I didn't realise this was gated based on the licence. I'm using Base, not Professional.
