Unable to Run VI on Remote Machine Using VI Server

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello!

I'm trying to run a VI on a remote machine using VI server but no luck. I used the "remote run VI" off from LV Inter. II. I've check and followed the VI server configuration. I also tried turning firewall on both PC but still nothing. Can't think of anything that stopping the VI to run on the remote PC. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Dr. Horrible.

Yes, it's very similar to your example. It's working now but not both ways and for some reason I can only "ping" my PC one way.

Can I just launch any VI created from the main PC or it has to be in the library? I asking because I tried launching a VI (simple VI) and it did not pop up to the remote PC.

Thanks for the quick response.
