I am using Programmable function generator AD9833 to generate 600HZ sine wave for one of my test requirement. AD9833 is connected to MCP2221 Micro controller to write data to AD9833 using MCP2221 I2C/SM BUS Terminal (since i want to verify the functionality first then go for the code implementation). i applied 5V to AD9833 and connected the SDA,SCLK from MCP2221. usually the slave device connected to the controller will get detect in MCP2221 Terminal by default, but in this case i am not able to establish communication with AD9833. i am not sure if i can use MCP2221 to program AD9833 and how to do it. Any suggestion on this?
