USB Webcam Configuration

Hi,

I am using a USB Webcam for image acquisition using IMAQ USB 8.6 under LV 8.6.

The images acquired has a resolution of 640x480pixels (a sort of default value).

The camera image chip is 1600x1200pixels.

How can I control the resolution from my VI?

Also I would need to control the rest of parameters, like exposure, white balance, etc.

I could use IMAQdx 8.6 if it helps.

I have manage to control the camera from Vision Assistant 8.6 but I need to do this from my VI.

Hi Andrei

You can do this one of two ways.

1. Change the Video Mode in Acquisition Attributes in Measurement and Automation Explorer
2. Using a IMAQdx property node change the Video Mode under Acquisition Attributes
