USB-9215A and OScilloscope Example

Hello.  I was trying to get my NI USB-9215A to wokr wiht the 2 channel oscilloscope example whihc comes wiht labview 8.  The device is 'dev3' and it can read from its inputs fine in the test panels.  But when i go to run the oscilloscope (with device 3 sleected and any on of dev3/ai0, ai0, 0, in the 'Channel A' slot)  I get an error message:  "NI-DAQ LV:  The specified device is not a National Instruments product, the driver does not support the device (for example, the driver was released before the device was supported), or the device has not been configured using the Measurement & Automation Explorer."

Any help would be appreciated

That is an old example (it's not part of my 8.5 installation) and was written for the traditional DAQ driver. Your device is not supported by the driver and the example would need to be completely rewritten. As I said, the example is not part of what I have for 8.5 so I can't help with that.

The VI you want to open was created with our Traditional DAQ driver, and the USB-9215A is only supported under DAQmx.  If you have not installed the DAQmx driver, you can find it here.  You can also find a comparable example in the Example Finder that was installed with LabVIEW.
