Troubles getting started with Bluetooth 5 Connection

We are having trouble establishing a BT 5.0 test bench for throughput -

Apparatus:

      Device:

• BT Module:  EFR32BG13 (#SLWRB4104A)
                        MCU - EFR32BG13P632F512GM48
                        BT - BT5 (LE 2M PHY)
• Carrier Board: Wireless Starter Kit (#BRD4001A)

      PC:

• Bluetooth Adapter: Techkey USB Mini Bluetooth-EDR 5.0
• Computer: Windows 10 Pro

Goal:

• Establish Bluetooth connection between EFR32 & LabVIEW demo application

How can we do this? We have explored the Bluetooth & RFComm libraries without success (LabVIEW 2020), how can we get started here? It shows in TI's BLE Device Monitor application, see attached if useful (using their LAUNCHXL-CC2650 for test)

We have established connection with the provided BLE libraries, but this limits to BT 4? We were looking for a ~1-1.4 Mbps channel if possible
