Troubles after downloading windows XP

Hello. I am a newby here and to Labview so please bear with me as I stumble through.
My company recently switched all computers from windows 2000 to windows XP. Since this time, the programs I have running in labview (7.1 developement, real time with fieldpoint) have been acting strange. Everything seems to be working as it should ( ie. valves still open and close, flow meters still read, temps are OK ) but the timing of when a valve opens or closes varies from day to day. There are other issues also and everything seems to be time related. The machines are local and not hooked to a network.  Is there a simple explanation for a simple mind or I am in deep trouble?
Thanks,
John

We have seen issues with time synchronization with RT (6.1 - 7.1) on Fieldpoint, especially
if you are using the PC as a time server.  I wasn't sure from your question if you are using
the PC as a time server or not.  Best solution so far has been to disable the time server
access in Fieldpoint and update time within your application.  See also:
