Intendevi dire:

Trailing edge peak detection?

Hi I'm very new to using LabView and am in need of some advice. I have
a square wave input signal, and an output signal which is proportional
to this input. There are some significant parasitic capacitances in my
circuit, which cause a large transient spike in my output signal. The
time constant is pretty small, so the signal drops down to equilibrium
quickly.

My question is this: how do I detect and measure the _trailing_ edge
of my output signal waveform? This is the point where the transient
effect has disappeared, and is the only useful data point for my
purposes. Thank you!

Look at C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 6.1\vi.lib\measure\mascope.llb\Transition Measurements 1 chan.vi. It has a bunch of options for selecting the rising or falling edge and the edge number. Note: "LabVIEW 6.1" in the path may be "LabVIEW", "LabVIEW 6", "LabVIEW 7.0", etc.
