For a big bunch of instruments, there are LabVIEW drivers for public use, provided (for free) by NI or the vendor. Those drivers are used to be in the NI Developer Zone http://zone.ni.com/idnet/ if they exist, or you can try at the vendors web site. If you can't find them, probably they won't exist, but you can ask even here or in info-labview http://labview.pica.army.mil perhaps someone has some drivers which wants to share with you.
Good luck

Don't you have a manual? A few minutes reading the manual and a few
more putting gpib or VISA read/write functions into a simple diagram
will usually do the trick. I am constantly dismayed by the lack of
motivation to write simple 'drivers', which really aren't drivers at
all, but simple read/write commands. I have been programming in
Labview for 8 years and am proud to say that I never waste time trying
to find and i
ncorporate into my diagrams 'drivers' for external
devices which are usually less than what I need, and poorly written by
college interns.

I was not able to find any drivers for a Toellner. While Greenman's words were a little harsh, he was correct. LabVIEW drivers are essntially just VI's that have accepted commands for that particular instrument already programmed for you. If you have the manual for your device, it should not be terribly difficult to write your own VI's for the purpose.

Aaron,

You are correct. My words were actually more than harsh. My
apologies to you, bso. I must have been having a bad hair day (or in
my case, another "no hair" day). I any case, I have lurked here often
over the years, sometimes posting, and I have always been amazed at
the impulse to find pre-
written 'drivers' for instruments. I have
usually found these drivers to be awfully constructed, even by the
manufactures. It's usually worth the small amount of time needed to
write your own.
