Time signal

Hi,Can anyone advise me on this.
Say i have my sampled time data in a sequence of values at discrete equal spaced point in time, how do i do a reverse to obtain the continuous time signal?
In Labview the "time signal" define in the power specrtal density.vi is refering to which type of time signal?

Your question is not very clear!

If you have a singal sampled at a certain frequency, you cannot make it "more" continous without making some assumptions about the data (e.g. you must assume that the original signal did not have higher frequency components than the nyquist frequency of the actual sampling rate). It will never be "continous", because we're dealing with a digital signal.

Are you possibly trying to do some interpolation? Could you be a bit more specific? 🙂

suppose i have 3 signals they are already sampled data. i feed these signals into the power spectral density.vi (i did not use dB) and cross power .vi to calculate its coherence but the values turn out to be alot greater then 1.

do you know where when wrong?

Hello Celynn,

Could you please post your VI (or a screenshot of your block diagram) that illustrates the problem, that would be helpful for us to troubleshoot the issue.

Thank you and best regards,
