Time Serialization

Solved!
Go to solution

Anyone have idea how to realize a product serialization automatically with the following format?

DDDMMYYYY

Where DDD can be 001 to 365, MM can be 00 to 12 and YYYY can be 0000 to 9999.

Thanks.

I do have an idea! 🙂

What about using FormatIntoString with 3 numeric inputs and a format of "%03d%02d%04d"?

Or use FormatIntoString (or FormatDateTimeString) with a timestamp and a format of "%j%m%Y". (Be aware of limitations for timestamps and their formatting in LabVIEW!)

Which month gets the number "00"?
