You could just use a value property the first time around
Yeah, but I didn't think of that, since setting it to 0 via local variable the first time didn't work, and the fact that the property node in the loop fixed it didn't really tell me what was really going on.
Now that I know, there are fixes available. And, as I said above, it's not really a problem. The only reason for the initial value being non-zero in my case was my identifying which selector goes with which indicator. But I saw the misbehavior and wondered what else was wrong.
