The input signal level changed when I moved the mouse

Hello,

I am running LV 6.1 on a Dell machine with Windows XP.
Until recently my Data Acqusition system worked fine. A few days ago I
discovered that the input signal from a detecor changed when I moved
the mouse. I belive that there is nothing wrong with the detector,
instead something strange happens with the signal in the hardware in
the computer.

Please help

Have you tried using a test panel in MAX to verify that mouse movement caused odd acquisition? I'd try to narrow down the problem to either software or hardware (MAX is the bes tool for that). If you find that the odd behavior doesn't occur inside of MAX, it MAY mean there is a software problem. If the odd behavior does occur, it MAY be hardware. If it seems to be hardware, try running your application on another computer and see if you get the same results. Post to let us know how it goes.

What type of DAQ card is it? PCI or USB?. Is your mouse USB?
