TestStand controls reference constans

Hi,

I am trying to create reference constants for the TestStand control (expression control), like I do with LabVIEW controls, to pass it into numerous subVI.

When I right click on TS control Create>>Reference, the created constant is different type than selected control 😞 Because of that I cannot use expression control methods with that reference. How to force it to be in proper type? I tried Variant to Data and To More Specific Class but they don't work...
