Tektronix TDS754 Oscilloscope

I try to communicate over GPIB with a tektronix tds 754 oscilloscope using
LabView 6.0.2. When I run the "tktds7x4 Getting Started.vi" I get the
following Error message:

Error -1073807339 occurred at tktds7x4 Configure Channel.vi
Possible reasons:
Driver Status: (Hex OxBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation completed.
Secondary Error: (Hex 0xBFFC0003) Parameter 3 out of range, or error occurred while setting Parameter 3.

This error is probably indicative of a timeout issue, so I would suggest looking over our support page on VISA timeouts at:

I am not sure what parameter 3 is for your instrument, so I would suggest contacting Tektronix to see if they can shed some light on parameter 3, and also if they have some suggestions on how to fix this error. It may be a common mistake in using their scope.
