Hi,
I've developed an event based vi which I'll use for calibrating an aerodynamic probe (constant temperature hot-wire anemometer) using Labview 8.5. My idea is to stream voltages after adjusting the wind tunnel motor speed, observe when the mean voltages become steady and then write out the mean voltage with respect to the tunnel speed gathered through an inclined manometer.
I have just about everything set up in a way that makes sense to me. What I would like though is to be able to purge my table for the next stream at the click of a button on the front panel. Furthermore I would like to be able to calculate the rate of change of the arithmetic mean voltages through a derivative vi, could someone perhaps help me solve these two problems?
It's fairly straightforward to calibrate these probes but I want the vi and methodology to be formalised to eliminate subjectiveness.
Thanks.

Hi Cevert,
What happens in you code at the moment, what happens if you set the "Reset Table" control to on? Does this not purge you table?

Hi. I switched to using the combination of an array & shift register instead which will probably work better for me for this problem. I've not quite finished this yet, been focusing on other problems but I'll figure it out eventually. Thanks for showing an interest!
This vi did purge the table but not in the way that I wanted it to.
