TH3800

Hello,

I tried running a simple VI to change the temperature scale on the TH3800 instrument.  However, a timeout error keeps coming up all the time and I cannot run the program.  I have attached a screen shot of the error and also the VI that I used.

Can you offer some help in getting the program to run?

Well, for one thing you don't have anything wired up correctly for the initialize function. You have the text GPIB going to the resource name input and the address going nowhere. The resource name is going to be something like GPIB0::4::INSTR. Since this is an IVI drivr, you could also use the IVI Logical Control. Then you would be able to select from a list of resources. You'll also want to make sure you have the IVI Compliance Package loaded.
