TDMS minimum buffer size

Setting NI_MinimumBufferSize

It seems that for efficient streaming to disk I need to be writing in blocks of ~1MB, Rather than concateneating data points and then writing large blocks to disk it looks like the TDMS buffers can be set on a channel by channel basis.

BUT... what is the unit of the property NI_MinimumBufferSize?? is it bytes or data points?

The unit is "data values", this property indicates how many (or the number) of data values.
