System String Control Color Property

I was try to change the background color of a system string control/indicator through the Text.BGColor property, and I was not able to do so.  After I changed the control/indicator to modern, I was able to change the BG color.  

Am I mistaken?  Or some catergories of control/indictor do not have BG Color property, even though it is showing as an option?

You cannot change the color of any System control. Their appearances adapt to the OS that the LabVIEW app is running on.
