System Manager Directory? What is it

Labview 2011 SP1, I am constantly getting this error when loading a project where is it trying to load some resource vi's from this directory, If I let it I cannot save my project without errors.

I deleted the directory and my project loaded fine after searching for awhile for the correct pathed sub vi's. I did a mass compile and a full save but if I restore the deleted directory the next I load it goes right back to this location and errors again! Do I need this directory or can I simply delete it and never need it?

What error exactly are you getting? What directory specifically are you deleting?

When I tried to build an exe it would fail on some system vi's.

I deleted the contents of this directory and all is working now.

(Actually I didn't delete them I added them to a zip file then deleted them just in case I need them in the future)

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\System Manager\11.0\vi.lib

But I guess because these vi's cant be found it loads them from here instead

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\vi.lib

Now everything is working as normal.

Quick Question:  Have you installed "Hidden Gems?"

"Should be" isn't "Is" -Jay
