Sync a DMM DAQ to a Scope

I'm trying to sync a DMM (PIXe-4080) to a scope (PXIe-5172).

I noticed this post:

Is there a better solution after 11 years?

Please provide some more information on the task you want to realize.

Samplerates , pretrigger points , single shot or continous , ... other cards you have available (timer/counter/...)

This setup is not for one test.  so the sample rate, pre-trigger points will vary.  It's a finite sample single shot measurement.

There are a few NI DAQ cards available: analog input/output (PXIe-43XX), digital input/output(PXIe-65XX), ...

The setup is for measuring the time difference between signal change on the DMM and the one on the Scope.

There is another problem: the waveform from the DMM has no t0.
