Hi quanthema,

I couldn't understand what the problem is.

The problem is a missing subVI named "EDX10A_Sample.vi" in your attachment…

Can you help me?

No, as long aas you don't provide the subVI (and the subVIs of that subVI)…

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi GerdW,

I also attached the pdf of driver and I followed the steps in it. I am sorry but I didn't understand the name mismatch and what should I do to overcome it?

Hi quanthema,

as soon as I point LabVIEW on the needed DLL the VIs can be opened without errors and are runnable!

You need to place the device driver in the correct place: be default the DLL is expected within instr.lib folder…

Best regards,
GerdW

hi GerdW,

Since the very begining , I put the .llb and .dll file to instr. lib folder.(I attahced the display) And as I said before I followed the steps in pdf. In Pdf it also says that the same thing;

2. When installing LabVIEW under normal state, copy the [EDX10A] folder to the following location.
C:\Program Files(x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW ****\instr.lib
(Note that **** indicates the version of the LabVIEW, installed in the PC.)
3. When installing LabVIEW under normal state, copy the EDX10A-errors.txt folder to the following location.
C:\Program Files(x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW ****\user.lib\errors
(Note that **** indicates the version of the LabVIEW, installed in the PC.)
4. Start LabVIEW.
Select [File] → [New VI].
Right-click the block diagram workspace to display the Functions palette.
Make sure the EDX-10A appears on the following menu.
[Instrument I/O] → [Instrument Drivers] → [EDX-10A]

Hi quanthema,

and WHICH errors do you get when following the manual?

You didn't explain this so far!

In which way aren't your VIs executable? Did you debug them?

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi quanthema,

it lists lost of errors as sub-vi is not executable.

We already knew that.

What are the exact errors in the subVIs?

Best regards,
GerdW
