I am doing a school project that involves gathering stress strain data from a SCXI1000 chassis. It is equipped with a 1520 card w/SCXI 1314 terminal block connected to an extensiometer and strain gage. It also has a 1120 card w/SCXI 1303 terminal block with type K thermocouple installed. The SCXI1000 conditioned signals are fed into Labview 8.6 through DAQmx. I need a Labview program to display a graphical plot the of stress/strain while testing a specimen and then save that data to a text file for later analysis. What is the easiest way to get this done? In the future I would also like to include an ambient temperature monitor while testing.
