Strange MC Listbox Edit Position Behavior

I am seeing some strange behavior with the MC Lisbox. When I set edit cell upon clicking the last visible column, the lisbox scrolls over one column. But, if I disable the edit cell, this scrolling doesn't happen. I really need to set "edit cell" so the user sees a faster response time, but I am doing some custom scrolling with my listbox in my actual program, so I need to be sure it doesn't scroll when clicking the last visible column.

Had this problem before, the way to get around this is make column 6 visible.  Just a couple pixels will do.
