Strange Error involving "textmgr.opp"

On Sunday evening, one of my customers experienced a LabVIEW error that froze the program. They used the task manager to shut down the program and restart, and things are working well now. I have searched the NI website and I have checked the failure page, and I have found nothing useful. The customer is unable to give me any information regarding what caused this error. To my knowledge, it has only occured once. Below is the only information I have regarding the error, which comes from an e-mail.

A popup window appeared and said the following:

Failure: "textmgr.opp line 1155 labview 6.1" For assistance in resolving please record the preceding information and navigate to www.ni.com/failure or contact National Instruments.

I contacted NI, and the best solution they were able to offer involved setting the Video Card Driver to "Standard VGA Mode". However, I currently have no way of knowing if the Video Card is currently in this mode. I do know that we don't change the settings on the video cards we ship out, so if this is the default setting and the customer didn't change it I will need another solution.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Hi BobChuck,

Unfortunately there is no existing error report in our archives that has this file and line number. If you are able to find something that occurs repetitively or some sequence of steps that results in this error, please do let us know and we can see if it is still an issue in the most recent version of LabVIEW.

Kind regards,
