Stepper Motor speed control

Hi guys,

Iam planning to use NI USB 6001 card for controlling speed of my stepper motor using a stepper drive. I have looked into some forums and it says USB 6001 can provide only constant PWM, so  the speed will remain constant only. Can anyone here help me ,to achieve speed control of stepper motor using USB 6001 or suggest any other NI card for achieving this requirement?.
