Hi All,
I have been trying to genrate a step function to control Objective Piezo. Attached pelase see the VI. When I run this VI and look at the output on a oscilloscope, the time axis is always 1s. Even I change the frequency still time remains 1s. For my application I need to have the latitude to change the time from 5 milli seconds to 50 milli seconds.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Best,
abhishek

Hey Abhishk,
What kind of device are you generating this signal with?
I think I found a community example that maybe be useful. It is a working example that should generate an analog output voltage continuously. You will need to tweak some of the values but it looks like the VI can do what you need.

Hi Kurt,
Thanks for your reply. I looked up the link you have provided but none of these worked. I have Labview 2011 and NI PCI 6733 DAQ card.
I need to genrate a step funtion (with about 100 steps) and time for each step around 10 ms.
Kindly let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
abhishek

Hmm, you might want to try to use a counter on your device. That would probably be the simplest way. It looks like your device has a counter output, so try this community example and make sure you are connected to your correct counter output.
