State Diagram Tutorial

Currently I use TestStand and once in a great while CVI.  My boss asked me to start the path to learning Labview.  Several of my colleagues who already develop in Labview recommend I learn the basics of state machines/diagrams.  I'm an old timer and for me its just a concept.  Can you recommend a resource which will get me on the road to using state diagrams?  Does NI have a course in state machines?

State Transition diagrams are discussed in LabVIEW Core 1.
