What a mystery! Please let us know if and when you find the solution. Perhaps try writing a new VI with sliders to see if it has the same problem. I suspect something got corrupted in your VI. You can even try copying and pasting sections from your VI to a new VI. Try the slider after each copy and paste. You may find a corrupted section that way.

Using the magic of Subversion SCC, I reverted until I found a version that works. The only difference is the inclusion of the legacy VIs for processing keyboard strokes from the user. It would seem that this is the problem.
I have jettisoned this code for now.
Problem solved, but not understood. I am sure someone can explain to me why the inclusion of the "Acquire Input Data.vi" should cause this behaviour.

I like this. You solve your own problem and give yourself the credit.
Brilliant!!!!!

Give credit where credit is due, I say!! Plus, indicating that the problem is solved lets other's choose to ignore the link.

So, I was wrong. The keyboard polling was NOT the solution.... Everything was working fine on Friday when I powered off for the day. this morning, on first start, I am back to the same behavior.
NI has advised that I install SP1. After 1 download, the SP will not run. I am downloading again. Will advise. In the meantime, still looking for ideas.
